Grab a few days quality hillwalking with a visit to the mountains of Snowdonia.  Experience the grandeur of Snowdon itself with its many and varied fine ridges and rugged corries, the rocky architecture of the Glyders and the wide open spaces of the Carneddau range.  Major valleys carve up the mountain massif dividing it into distinctive ranges which lend themselves to daily forays.  Careful use of the local ‘Sherpa’ bus service enables imaginative ‘A to B’ routes to be devised enabling us to explore all sides of any particular mountain without always having to walk back to our starting point. 

Longer routes can also be planned, perhaps with an overnight stay in an isolated bothy as part of a 2-day mountain journey.  Learn about the once vibrant North Wales slate industry which formerly dominated the now deserted cwms and provided the world with slate roofs for half a century.
